SEQ Registration Details
Read this post to make sure you are ready to register your team before registration opens.
Important Dates
Southeast Regional Qualifier: June 1st through 2nd
In Region Registration Opens: 7pm ET May 1st
Out of Region Registration Opens: 7pm ET May 3rd

In-Region Teams
The southeast region includes the following states and territories:
Alabama
Florida
Georgia
Mississippi
North Carolina
Puerto Rico
South Carolina
An in region team is made up of >50% in-region team members (3 or 4 players reside in one of the states or territories above).
In-region teams will have 48 hours (from May 1st at 7:00pm ET through May 3rd at 6:59pm ET) to register and will be given priority for competing in the Southeast Regional Qualifier before registration opens to out of region teams.
In region teams can continue to register after this window.
Out-of-Region Teams
An out of region team is made up of ≤50% in-region team members (0, 1, or 2 players reside in one of the states or territories above).
Out of region teams will have a chance to register for this event after the in-region registration period (starting on May 3rd at 7pm ET).
If an out-of-region team fills out the registration during the in-region registration period, they will need to fill in the form again.
‼️UPDATE‼️ Waitlist
Starting at 7:01 pm ET on May 5th, all submissions of the registration form will be considered on a waitlist. In the event that not enough teams sign up or a team is unable to pay the $160 registration fee, we will continue down the waitlist using the criteria outlined in this blog post.
Diversity and Inclusivity
In the event that more teams register than we can accommodate, we will prioritize:
Teams from the host club
In-region teams with at least one player who is FTWNB and/or BIPOC
In-region teams in order of registration
Out-of-region teams with at least one player who is FTWNB and/or BIPOC
Out-of region teams in order of registration
Terms:
FTWNB = Femme, Trans, Women, Non-Binary
BIPOC = Black, Indigenous, Person of Color
Team Information
Before registration opens, make sure you know the following details about your team:
Team captain
Names of all players
State or territory of residence for all players
Phone number of the captain
Email addresses for all players
You must register with 4 players. Your team can change between registration and the event, but if the changes effect your in-region status or player diversity, this may forfeit your qualifying spot.
Other Details
If accepted:
All players will be required to fill out a player information form.
All player will be required to agree to a code of conduct.
Teams will be required to pay a registration fee of $160.
